Yadis Plastics is a Zimbabwean manufacturer of plain and printed flexible plastic packaging, based at the IDBZ Complex on Woolwich Road in Willowvale, Harare.
Most of what we produce is invisible until it is missing: the liner in the office bin, the bag the mealie meal comes in, the sheeting under a concrete slab, the packet the pharmacy hands over the counter. It is ordinary, and it has to work every single time.
That is the whole business. We manufacture flexible plastic packaging for household and industrial use — plain or printed — and we sell it two ways: in bulk, direct from the factory floor in Willowvale, and over the counter at our shop in Avondale Shopping Centre.
Because we are the manufacturer, there is no importer between you and the product. The gauge, the size, the print and the price are all decided here in Harare.
We choose gauge and size for what the bag actually has to carry. A bag that splits is cheaper only until it fails.
If your artwork will not print well, or a lighter gauge will not hold your product, we will tell you before the run — not after.
The second order should look and behave exactly like the first. Colour, gauge and dimensions are held to the approved original.
We make it, so we talk about it. Separate your waste, recycle what can be recycled, and never burn it.
Two very different ways of buying from the same manufacturer.
